Philadelphia offers one of the most remarkable concentrations of American history anywhere in the country. On this thoughtfully designed trip, you’ll explore the birthplace of the United States while also discovering the city’s vibrant artistic legacy, from world-class museums to the murals that color its streets. One day you’ll be guided by Ben Franklin himself, the next by a mural art expert, and the last by a retired architect.

Itinerary
Cost per person
- $2,000, single-occupancy
- $1,600, double-occupancy
Cost includes: Three-night stay at the Hyatt Centric Rittenhouse Square, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 1 dinner, bus transportation, and all tours and museum admission fees.
Not included: Two dinners, two optional cultural experiences, gratuities for guides, and additional expenses incurred on your own.
Cancellation
You or a member of your party may cancel their registration for the tour provided that the cancellation is communicated in writing and by the person who signed the booking form. The deposit is non-refundable. After the balance has been paid, East Coast Explorers will charge as follows: The periods before departure within which written cancellation is received and the cancellation charges, shown as a percentage of the total trip price, are as follows:
- More than 91 days: 70%
- 0 to 90 days: 90%
If you are obliged to cancel, with reasonable notice, the booking may be transferred to a third party who satisfies the conditions required to take the tour. The amounts not refundable by East Coast Explorers may be recoverable under the participant’s personal insurance policy.

(If selecting Double, please indicate your roommate’s name. Please note: Roommates are required when registering for a double room. If you do not have a roommate, you must register for a single occupancy.)
- Step 3: Share your mobility restrictions, food allergies, and room requests, if any.
- Step 4: Share your emergency contact information.
- Step 5: Agree to booking conditions.
- Once enrollment is complete, you will be prompted to pay the $250 non-refundable deposit on the secure online site.

- Once your deposit is received, East Coast Explorers will send a paid receipt/confirmation.
- Once the enrollment process is complete, East Coast Explorers will send a sign-up link to all participants regarding the following experiences:
- Optional: Broadway Philadelphia “The Who’s Tommy” on Wednesday April 14, at 7:30 p.m. Estimated $100 additional fee per ticket. (Fee can be included with your final payment.)
- Optional: Philadelphia Orchestra “Yannick Leads Strauss & Schubert” on Thursday April 15, at 7:30 p.m. Estimated $80 additional fee per ticket. (Fee can be included with your final payment.)
- Select your museum visit for Thursday, April 15 (Included with total cost.)
