The Future of OLLI Committee is a group of OLLI members and York area community leaders who care deeply about lifelong learning and about OLLI’s place in the York community. We’re working together to serve as one point of connection for members who want to share ideas, concerns, or questions.
While the Penn State Board of Trustees has approved the closure of Penn State York campus following the 2026–27 academic year, OLLI at Penn State will continue in York beyond that transition. Penn State Outreach leadership has reaffirmed that OLLI is in York to stay.

Thirty-four OLLI members hiked sections of the Appalachian Trail along the Pennsylvania-New Jersey line near East Stroudsburg, PA, October 20–25. The trip was a Road Scholar program that offered four days of hiking with a choice of three distances, generally ranging from three miles to more than nine miles.
