Take in the beauty of fall in southern York County during this unique OLLI outing aboard the historic Northern Central Railway of York, operating since 1838.
We’ll enjoy a scenic ride through the countryside to Hanover Junction, soaking in autumn views along the way. During the journey, the conductor and brakeman will share engaging stories about the history and development of the towns and villages we pass. The excursion also includes a 20-minute stop at the Hanover Junction Museum, offering time to stretch your legs and explore a bit of local history.
Our group will have a reserved train car with restroom access for added comfort. Feel free to pack a lunch and bring it along to enjoy during the ride.
This relaxed and scenic experience is a wonderful way to enjoy the fall season and spend time with fellow OLLI members.
