Danielle Guillermo is an educator and organizational strategist who has helped mission-centered organizations clarify their message, strengthen community connections, and grow with intention. At OLLI at Penn State in Harrisburg, she is focused on expanding access, strengthening community partnerships, and growing a welcoming program for lifelong learners across the Greater Harrisburg region. A Harrisburg native, Danielle’s community work includes the Ugly Duckling Project, a grant-funded residency that brought arts-based bullying prevention programming to more than 2,000 students in the Harrisburg School District, as well as service on the board of Women of Purpose.

She has supported nonprofit growth from inception to six figures, increased enrollment and revenue for established organizations—leading one nonprofit to its first profitable performance season in nearly 20 years. Her work with dance studio owners led to a feature in Dance Teacher Magazine.

She founded Dance News Daily, a daily online arts journal recognized by leading arts organizations including Arte.tv and Alberta Ballet. She has also shared her perspective on career sustainability and professional development through platforms such as Movers & Shapers: A Dance Podcast with The Ohio State University and the Pennsylvania Dance Education Organization. Her workshop, What School Never Taught You About Building a Career in Dance, has reached professionals across 33 countries.

Before her work in organizational strategy, Danielle was a professional dancer and award-winning choreographer and later served as program director and adjunct instructor at Messiah University. She holds a B.A. in art history from Mansfield University and an Artist in Health certification from Penn State. Outside of her work, she enjoys time with her husband, their two children, and their Border Heeler.
