Spring heads up instructor recruitment and program development and keeps things running smoothly at University Park. She’s works on building connections with both academic and community partners and works with staff and volunteers to create new ways to keep learning engaging. With a focus on big-picture planning and keeping members engaged, she handles day-to-day operations, supports staff and volunteers, and ensures courses are consistently solid through collaboration and a commitment to growth.
Spring’s wealth of programming experience comes from more than 12 years of working as an educator in the outdoor field. Her love for the outdoors led her to a degree in wildlife and fisheries science from Penn State. In her spare time, Spring enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Her favorite thing to do outdoors is exploring the woods with her two boys, Nolan and Conrad, and her husband, Brian.
