Sherri Hope Culver is director of the Center for Media and Information Literacy at Temple University, where she is a professor in the Klein College of Media and Communication. She was vice-chair of UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Alliance and presents on media literacy and children’s media. She has worked on projects for TIME Studios, PBS Kids, Facebook, MD Public TV, and more. Her publications include a chapter in 20 Questions about Youth and the Media (2019) and a co-authored chapter in Media Literacy in a Disruptive Media Environment (2020) titled, “A Snapshot: the state of media literacy education in the U.S.” Sherri produces and hosts the podcast Kids Talk Media and was a Fulbright Global Scholar for 2022–23.
