— Welcome to our new and improved website for OLLI at Penn State! Our new web presence includes both OLLI locations, York and University Park. You will see that a few of the pages include shared information, however, on the “University Park Members” page you will also find information specific to our OLLI such as access to our course catalog and registration system, descriptions of our social and special interest groups, and a listing of upcoming events. As you begin to explore the website, please know that you can contact us at any time with questions or for assistance — we are always happy to help!
As we move toward fall 2021, we are excited to welcome you back to OLLI. Whether you are planning to take courses in-person or online, or a combination — we assure you that you will find something that piques your interest and meets your comfort level. We want your time with OLLI to be enjoyable, thought-provoking, and fulfilling. Here is a sample of what you can expect from OLLI this fall:
- Harry S. Truman: His Life and Times — Discover the personal and political life of Harry Truman, including his family, his background, and what led him into politics.
- America Attacked: Flight 93 — Learn about the events related to United Airlines Flight 93, the plane which did not strike the terrorists’ intended target on September 11, 2001.
- How Did Mifflinburg Become “Buggy Town USA”? — Visit Mifflinburg’s Buggy Museum and listen to Dr. Mary Sullivan discuss the factors that contributed to making this small town one of the most well-known buggy producers in the United States.
Throughout the fall semester and beyond, we encourage you to keep up to date with all that is happening with OLLI.
