Faculty and staff from three Penn State campuses recently had the opportunity to present at the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Intergenerational Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
In 2001, Norina Bentzel, as principal of a Red Lion School District elementary school, stood between a machete-wielding man and her students and staff. While severely injured, Bentzel recovered, returned to work, and spent the next 23 years contemplating the book she published this past summer, Glorious Sadness. Today, Norina shared her story of healing, crises, and overcoming trauma. Thank you Norina E. Bentzel for your inspiring and educational presentation!
