Susan Russell, associate professor in the School of Theatre at Penn State and co-founder/co-director of the Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design in the College of Arts and Architecture, was performing in “Phantom of the Opera” at the Majestic Theatre and living in midtown Manhattan on September 11, 2001.

In June, a group of OLLI members attended a new outdoor recreation course at Colyer Lake, where they explored the walking trail that encircles the man-made beauty. Located in Centre Hall, the lake and its trails hosts a variety of reptiles and mammals, as well as swallows and dragonflies.
